Mediation

DGST Mediation is a group of empathetic, equitable, and efficient mediators who are willing to work with you to ensure you get a satisfactory outcome.

What is Mediation?

Mediation is a process of conflict resolution held in a private, non-judicial setting. Mediation sessions are highly confidential and Texas law ensures that communications cannot be disclosed to parties outside of the mediation.

Why Mediation over Litigation?

Mediation permits you to have control and freedom over your personalized circumstances to find a desirable solution. Mediation empowers you to dictate the changes and/or modifications you desire rather than going through the court system and having it decided for you.

The Purpose of Mediation

The purpose of a mediation is to go through specific steps that allow each party to hear and understand each other. By the end of the mediation process you shall have a binding “Mediated Settlement Agreement” (MSA). This agreement contains the terms and conditions the parties themselves have agreed to. This process is solely controlled by the parties; not even a court can make changes so long as the terms and conditions are reasonable and enforceable according to the law.

Our Role as Mediatiors

Our role as mediators is to facilitate meaningful conversations that end in positive outcomes. As mediators, we are not your legal counsel; we are solely a neutral party assisting the parties in this dialogue.
